TFC @ The Seattle International Auto Show

2002 - 2004

SIAS - November 2002:

The Frederickson Classics participated in the  Seattle International Auto Show (held at the Seahawks Stadium Exhibition Center) with an exhibit of high-quality classic cars from the LeMay Collection and other private collections.

Shown to the right are eight of the automobiles that made the 2002 TFC exhibit a memorable experience:
  • 1957 Chevrolet BelAir
  • 1930 Bentley
  • 1930 Duesenberg
  • 1957 Ford Thunderbird
  • 1948 Tucker
  • 1955 Ford Sunliner
  • 1953 Chevrolet Corvette
  • 1914 Detroit electric
The LeMay automobile and memorabilia collection is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest privately held collection of its kind in the world. Its mission is to preserve and interpret the history and technology of the automobile and its influence on American culture.

The collection was amassed over decades by Pierce County businessman Harold LeMay, who passed away in November 2000. It currently includes more than 2,800 automobiles and over 30,000 pieces of 20th century Americana. It is housed in more than 50 buildings throughout Pierce County.

SIAS - November 2003:

The Frederickson Classics presented an exceptional display of three unique and exotic vehicles from private collections (shown below).
  • 1938 Talbot Lago type 150C - Pronounced "Tal bo - la go", this French-made automobile is one of the most exotic cars ever built.  A touring car - and one of The Frederickson Classics - was built on a race car chassis and cruised at more than 90 miles per hour.
  • 1939 Mercedes-Benz 540 K Cabriolet - One of only 25 built - and only 12 remaining in the world - This Frederickson Classic features a 170 horsepower engine.
  • 1938 Hispano-Suiza H6C Dubonnet Xenia Saoutchik Coupe - Created by Andre Dubonnet (an accomplished aviator and race car driver who envisioned a combination of automobile and aircraft styling cues) this vehicle helped his efforts to establish several new European speed records.
